Clubs notice-Walk for Mayor Paloma Aguirre for Board of Supervisors
Let's get Mayor Aguirre elected to D1 Board of Supervisors!
Hello Clubs!
Your Club Development Committee wanted to announce our challenge to you to get out and walk/knock/call/postcard for our party endorsed candidate Mayor Paloma Aguirre as she seeks the open seat on the Board of Supervisors D1!
In that spirit we are happy to let you know of several events where you and your clubs can get out to help.
First, May 24th from 9am-12noon at the Golden Hill Rec Center 2600 Golf Course Dr. San Diego-The United Union Super Walk is being held. This includes, but is not limited to, The San Diego Building Trades Unions amongst others. Please see attached flyer for more details.
Also Mayor Aguirreās Campaign will be holding a number of phone banks and walks. For updates and info please check out: https://www.paloma-aguirre.com/

Votebuilder
All clubs have the option toĀ request a Votebuilder/VAN accountĀ from the San Diego County Democratic Party, which has a quick lookup tool you can use to verify member information based on voter registration data (one per club).
Please emailĀ clubs@sdddemocrats.org, and SDCDP staff will get back to you as soon as they can.
Recurring Zoom Links for Club Meetings
Reminder:
The Club or Coalition shall meet individually at least once quarterly and for all endorsement votes andĀ all meeting dates, times, and locations shall be provided to the SDCDP at least fourteen (14) days prior to the meeting for publication on the SDCDP website.Ā A copy of the notice, agenda, and minutes for business meetings or endorsement meetings shall be supplied via email to the Director of Clubs and the SDCDP.
Weād like to encourage everyone to use a recurring Zoom meeting link for your club so we can add the link in the Party Calendar, which is easier than updating it once a month with a new link.
You can have a recurring meeting and still require registration (if desired), and either automatically or manually approve registrations. You can have them register for each meeting, or once for all meetings where they can use the same personal link every month.
You can still extract attendance records, as Zoom provides a report per meeting.
If you need help setting this up, please reach out for assistance.
Party Calendar
If you provided aĀ Gmail addressĀ when re-chartering, you are able to edit your clubās meeting entries on the Party Calendar, on which the club is set up with a recurring meeting. You can edit just one occurrence or the complete series. You can add details of the agenda to each meeting, or change the date and time as required. If you need help, please reach out for assistance.
And as a reminder, if you change your meeting date, time, or location (Zoom link), you must update the calendar item yourself, or emailĀ clubs@sddemocrats.org.
If you donāt yet have access to edit your clubās Google calendar item, please emailĀ clubs@sddemocrats.orgĀ and provide the email address you want to use so SDCDP staff can assist you.
